Dell releases 500Hz Alienware AW2524H monitor

Dell announced that it launched the Alienware AW2524H gaming monitor with a refresh rate of 500Hz and won the CES 2023 Innovation Award, further enhancing the competitiveness and competitive advantages of the Alienware brand.

Alienware AW2524H gaming monitor features a Fast IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, connected via the DisplayPort interface to achieve a native refresh rate of 480Hz, and a refresh rate of 500Hz after overclocking. Its GtG response time is 0.5ms, and the sRGB color gamut is 99%. It has been certified by VESA DisplayHDR 400 and NVIDIA G-SYNC, equipped with ComfortView Plus hardware-level anti-blue light solution, supports AlienFX lighting system, and has an NVIDIA Reflex delay analyzer, providing DP 1.4 interface and HDMI 2.1 interface. In addition, it is also equipped with two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and an audio output port.

Dell offers new functional elements in the Alienware AW2524H gaming monitor, such as a retractable headphone stand and a new hexagonal base structure that takes up less space, allowing gamers to keep gaming keyboards and mice where they are convenient, modifications based on feedback from professional eSports players and the Alienware gaming community. Dell says the new gaming monitors can deliver incredible frame rates and motion clarity in fast-paced games and help gamers win.

Previously, the refresh rate of AW2523HF was 360Hz. The new gaming monitor has obviously been further improved. For ordinary players, increasing from 360Hz to 500Hz will not bring any benefits, but professional esports players with high demands will be excited. The Alienware AW2524H gaming monitor will be available in the first quarter of 2023, and Dell has yet to announce pricing.
