Cooler Master Unleashes Revolutionary 1100W Fanless PSU at CES 2024
Previous reports have indicated that Cooler Master is developing a more potent fanless power supply unit (PSU) with a staggering 1100W rating, more than adequate to meet the power demands of high-end PC platforms and significantly surpassing similar products currently available in the market. Similar to the 750W model showcased at Computex 2023, this PSU is part of the X Silent series, distinguished primarily for its silent design, albeit with a higher power rating.
According to Notebookcheck, Cooler Master is set to unveil this 1100W fanless PSU at CES 2024, a product that is bound to make an impressive statement. As previously introduced by Cooler Master, the X Silent series PSUs employ a uniform heat plate and an “integrated cooling structure” for dissipation, resulting in superior thermal management and extending the lifespan of the components.
Details about this 1100W fanless PSU are currently sparse. Cooler Master seems to have equipped the rear of the PSU with a large-scale aluminum heat dissipation module, incorporating a square copper base plate and several heat pipes. It features a 12VHPWR connector, and like many recent models from various manufacturers, it likely boasts an improved design. Additionally, Cooler Master has equipped the PSU with a USB connector and a PMBUS connector.
Cooler Master has expressed its commitment to developing higher-rated fanless models, though this endeavor requires additional time. The pricing of the product remains unclear, but it is expected to be on the higher end.
