Colorful RTX 4060 Ti leaks: boost clock of 2580MHz, equipped with 8GB video memory
According to previous reports, the packaging design template for the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti has been leaked, and NVIDIA’s partners have already received marketing materials, suggesting the graphics card may be officially released in May. Recently, TechPowerUP’s database editor maintainer T4C Fantasy disclosed information about some of the Colorful RTX 4060 Ti models.
The Colorful graphics card model is the iGame RTX 4060 Ti Ultra White OC, with a boost clock of 2580MHz. The reference card’s boost clock is 2535MHz, so the iGame RTX 4060 Ti Ultra White OC has an increase of 45MHz or approximately 1.8%. T4C Fantasy previously revealed that some custom RTX 4060 Ti models could reach boost clocks of 2685MHz. T4C Fantasy also stated that the current GeForce RTX 4060 Ti memory capacity is 8GB, although future changes are not ruled out.
Based on previously leaked information, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti has a memory bus width of 128-bit and uses GDDR6 memory, a reduction compared to the GeForce RTX 4070 in both memory bus width and type. The previous-generation GeForce RTX 3060 Ti had two memory versions, both GDDR6 and GDDR6X, with a memory bus width of 256-bit and a capacity of 8GB each. The previous-generation GeForce RTX 3060 also had two versions, with the 12GB GDDR6 memory version having a 192-bit bus width, and the 8GB GDDR6 memory version having a 128-bit bus width. Consequently, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti may not target gamers using high-resolution displays as its primary audience.
