Biostar launches A620MS motherboard
BIOSTAR has announced the launch of the A620MS motherboard, designed to support AMD’s Ryzen 7000/8000 series processors based on the Zen 4 architecture. This motherboard, featuring a Micro-ATX form factor (22.1cm x 23.5cm), provides a versatile solution renowned for its reliability and adaptability across various computing environments, aiming to fulfill the demands of office users, home enthusiasts, and system integrators.
The A620MS boasts two DDR5 memory slots, supporting up to DDR5-6000+ specifications and capacities of 8/16/24/32/48GB per module, elevating the maximum memory capacity from the previous 64GB to 96GB. It is equipped with one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot (capable of bifurcation into dual x8 channels) and one PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. The motherboard includes an M.2 slot (for NVMe SSDs) supporting PCIe 4.0 x4 speeds, accommodating 2242/ 2260/ 2280 form factor SSDs, alongside four SATA III ports supporting RAID 0/1/5/10 configurations.
For rear I/O, the A620MT is outfitted with four USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, one HDMI 1.4 port, one DP 1.2 port, a gigabit Ethernet port (Realtek RTL8111H), a BIOS UPDATE button, and an audio solution by Realtek ALC897 supporting 7.1 channels. Additionally, the motherboard includes expansion sockets for one USB 3.2 Gen1 and two USB 2.0 front I/O interfaces.
BIOSTAR asserts that the new motherboard is designed to enhance performance, streamline the user experience, and bolster system stability, catering to and exceeding the expectations of a broad range of users, whether for business, entertainment, or complex system integration environments.
