At last year’s Cologne Gamescom, BenQ announced the release of multiple MOBIUZ series products, including the EX480UZ, which is BenQ’s first-ever gaming monitor equipped with an OLED panel. This was subsequently showcased at CES 2023 earlier this year, but it has not been available for sale until recently.

The BenQ EX480UZ gaming monitor is now available for purchase, with a recommended retail price of 1599.99 pounds sterling. Royce Lye, the general manager of BenQ’s UK and Ireland business, mentioned that the EX480UZ offers gamers an entirely new level of immersive experience as BenQ’s first OLED gaming monitor. With top-notch display technology, both casual and competitive players alike can enjoy a fresh audiovisual gaming experience, supporting seamless and uninterrupted gameplay while preserving the players’ well-being with BenQ’s latest built-in eye care technology.

It also supports AMD FreeSync Premium, True Black HDR 400, HDR10, and BenQ’s HDRi technology. Furthermore, this model has BenQ’s latest eye care technology, which includes low blue light, flicker-free, and brightness intelligence to ensure the protection of the players’ vision during gameplay.

The EX480UZ gaming monitor comes equipped with treVolo speakers, consisting of two 5W speakers and one 10W subwoofer. It has two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, one full-featured USB-C port (supporting 90W power delivery), and an audio interface, in addition to its hub function, providing two downstream USB 3.2 ports through a USB Type-B upstream port.
