ASUS will bring PRIME N100I-D D4 ITX motherboard with Intel N100 processor
During the recent Computex 2023 exhibition, ASUS showcased a motherboard specifically designed for mini PCs, the “PRIME N100I-D D4”. Presently, Fanlestech has delivered official images and a more thorough rundown of specifications. As it belongs to the PRIME series, it will be available as a retail product, not solely for OEM partners.
The Intel N100 processor incorporated in the motherboard utilizes an Alder Lake-N chip, manufactured with Intel’s 7nm process. It possesses four cores and four threads, all E-Core, with a 6MB L3 cache. The peak turbo frequency is 3.4 GHz, and the integrated GPU encompasses 24 EUs. The processor supports AV1 video encoding and decoding and has a TDP of 6W. The relatively low power consumption of the processor allows the PRIME N100I-D D4 motherboard to use a passive cooling design, delivering an excellent silent experience, and making it suitable for users building NAS or HTPC systems.
The PRIME N100I-D D4 is a Mini-ITX motherboard featuring a single SO-DIMM memory slot, supporting up to 32GB DDR4-3200. It boasts a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot and a PCIe 3.0 M.2 slot (running in x2 mode) that supports 2280 standards. It also has a SATA III interface and another 2230 M.2 slot for a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module and includes a USB 3.0 connection socket.
In terms of I/O configuration, the PRIME N100I-D D4 is equipped with two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port, a DisplayPort, a D-Sub port, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and a PS/2 port. The audio solution is the Realtek ALC897.
As of now, the pricing and specific release date for the ASUS PRIME N100I-D D4 motherboard remains indeterminate.
