Asus ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 4090 will be officially launched on September 19

At the culmination of May this year, ASUS unveiled its avant-garde ROG GeForce RTX 4090 Matrix graphics card at Computex 2023. This marks the ROG’s renaissance of the Hacker series, following the trailblazing ROG MATRIX GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. Recent communiques from ASUS_ROG announce the impending launch of the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 4090 on September 19th.

The ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 4090, with its seamless metallic architecture, spans a breadth of 2.5 slots, crowned with an aesthetically pleasing shroud infused with RGB illumination. Eschewing traditional fans in its construction, the card is an epitome of innovation, integrating liquid metal thermal components. Surrounding the GPU core and its power module, pioneering temperature sensors have been incorporated, ensuring a superior, homogenous heat dispersion. At the card’s terminus, a metallic brace offers support for the liquid conduit connections, with all cooling requisites addressed by an integrated 360-degree liquid cooling solution. The cooling matrix features a trio of ROG MF-12 ARGB fans, magnetically attached, offering ease of manipulation for aficionados.

Performance-wise, this illustrious card employs a 24-phase power design, with components sourced from MPS. With a default power consumption pegged at 550W, it can surge to a monumental 600W, elevating it to the zenith among its RTX 4090 peers. Such prowess truly befits its designation as the most potent graphics card under the ASUS banner. Previously, a tech-savant had overclocked the Matrix GeForce RTX 4090’s core frequency to 4GHz, setting a groundbreaking record for the RTX 4090 series.

The Matrix GeForce RTX 4090 is equipped with three DP ports and an additional two HDMI ports—one more than its standard contemporaries. With the card measuring approximately 28cm, ASUS recommends an allowance of at least 35mm, ensuring adequate bend radius for the liquid tubes.
