ASUS launches TUF Gaming A620-PRO WiFi motherboard
ASUS announced the launch of the TUF Gaming A620-PRO WiFi motherboard. Unlike the previously released Micro-ATX A620 motherboards, this model adopts the ATX form factor. Although equipped with an entry-level chipset, it offers a more comprehensive feature set and a slightly higher positioning, making it a targeted product for a niche market.
The TUF Gaming A620-PRO WiFi motherboard features a 12+2 phase DrMOS power design, accompanied by VRM heatsinks, catering to performance-focused gamers. While it does not support CPU overclocking, it provides ample power for 12-core or 16-core processors. The motherboard offers four DDR5 memory slots, supporting AMD EXPO technology and ASUS Optimem II technology; one PCIe 4.0 x16 full-length slot, one PCIe 3.0 full-length slot (PCIe 3.0 x2 mode), and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots. It also includes two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots (one of which supports M.2 22110 SSDs) and four SATA III interfaces, along with a module supporting Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.
This motherboard supports AURA SYNC RGB lighting synchronization, with an onboard second-generation addressable header for RGB LED strips, allowing seamless integration with AURA SYNC-compatible hardware. The rear I/O is equipped with two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port, one USB 2.0 port, one HDMI port, one DisplayPort, and a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port (Realtek 8125 series chipset). A USB BIOS Flashback button is also present, along with USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A and USB 2.0 ports for front panel connectivity.
ASUS has not disclosed the pricing or specific release date for the TUF Gaming A620-PRO WiFi motherboard.
