ASUS launches the ROG Strix XG27AQMR Gaming Monitor
ASUS previously launched the ROG Strix XG27AQM e-sports display with a screen resolution of 2560×1440 and a refresh rate of 270Hz. ASUS recently launched the ROG Strix XG27AQMR e-sports monitor with an improved refresh rate.
ROG Strix XG27AQMR adopts a three-sided narrow bezel design, the screen size is 27 inches. The resolution is 2560×1440, covering 97% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, the maximum brightness is 350nits, the contrast ratio is 1000:1, the refresh rate is 300Hz, the GTG is 1ms, and it supports DisplayHDR 600. Monitors are factory color calibrated to ΔE<2.
The display supports NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies, which can reduce screen tearing and provide a better gaming experience. Released in October 2013, G-SYNC technology can reduce screen tearing and stuttering by matching the refresh rate of the display with the rendering frame rate of the graphics card.
In terms of interfaces, the monitor is equipped with two HDMI 2.0 interfaces, one DP 1.4 interface, one 3.5mm headphone headset interface, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A interfaces, and one USB upstream interface. ROG Strix XG27AQMR is also equipped with an adjustable bracket that supports 0-110mm height adjustment; -5˚-20˚ pitch adjustment; -25˚-25˚ rotation angle adjustment, and is also compatible with 100x100mm VESA wall-mounting specifications, which is convenient for users to replace the bracket.
The monitor packs several technologies for the gaming crowd: The ASUS Dynamic Shadow Boost function can increase dark field details without affecting other picture areas, making enemies easier to identify; with seven preset picture modes, users can switch according to their needs; Flicker-Free technology reduces flicker, reducing eye fatigue during long gaming sessions; Ultra-Low Blue Light technology with four adjustment options reduces the harmful blue light emitted by the monitor.
ASUS has not announced the specific price of ROG Strix XG27AQMR.
