Asus launches ROG Phone 5 equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor
Well-known device manufacturer ASUS recently announced the launch of ASUS ROG Phone 5, which is ASUS’ flagship gaming phone specifically for gamers.
Since it is a flagship device, it is naturally not bad in terms of hardware configuration. The device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and is equipped with a 144Hz AMOLED screen.
At the same time, it is equipped with a 6000 mAh large battery and supports 65W wired fast charging, which can quickly charge the battery power from 0% to about 50% within 15 minutes.
What’s more interesting is that there is a pixel display on the back of the device that can display the ROG logo and supports custom RGB lights, making the entire device look cooler.
For the display, the AMOLED screen provided by Samsung has a refresh rate of 144Hz, and the touch sampling rate is 300Hz so that players can experience no-delay operation.
The device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 flagship processor, which has excellent performance and is placed in the center of the phone, which makes it easier for the processor to dissipate heat.
There is a pixel display on the back of the phone that can display the ASUS ROG Player Kingdom logo, and there are RGB lighting areas on both sides so that users can customize the configuration according to their interests.
Among them, ROG Phone 5 Pro and the flagship version have a custom display on the back, allowing users to create different scenarios for incoming calls or games for easy use.
The camera has never been the focus of gaming phones, so the device’s camera is the same as the Zenfone 7 Pro launched by Asus last year, and Asus has not upgraded it.
In terms of price, this series of ASUS devices are available in a regular version, a professional version, and a flagship version. Different versions also have big differences in terms of maximum memory and body storage capacity.
The different versions includes 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 16GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 16GB + 256GB storage.
In addition, the highest configuration of the flagship version provides up to 18GB of memory, which is currently the highest memory device in the world’s smartphones, and the body storage is still 256GB.
The price from low to high is 799 Euros, 899 Euros, 999 Euros, 1099 Euros, and 1299 Euros, allowing gamers to choose according to their needs.
In addition, Asus also launched a variety of peripheral accessories for gaming phones, including new cooling fans, wireless headsets with RGB, and Kunai game controllers.
