Asus announced that the ProArt PA32UCXR, the first mini LED monitor to integrate a colorimeter and offer a brightness of up to 1600 nits, will be launched in January 2024. Although the price remains undisclosed, this new product boasts exceptional display quality, providing astonishingly clear imagery and intricate detail. It also features remarkable contrast and luminosity.
The ProArt PA32UCXR is equipped with a 31.5-inch IPS panel, supporting mini LED technology. It features 2304 backlight partitions, a 178° viewing angle both horizontally and vertically, a 10-bit color depth, a 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160), a refresh rate of 60Hz, a response time (GtG) of 5ms, a peak brightness of 1600 nits, and an astounding maximum contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. It covers 97% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, 99% of the Adobe RGB color gamut, and 100% of the sRGB color gamut. Factory-calibrated to achieve color accuracy with a Delta E of less than 1, it supports HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision.
The monitor is outfitted with two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort, two Thunderbolt 4 ports (one in and one out, supporting 90W PD reverse power supply), and an audio jack. It also features USB hub functionality, including one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port and three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, offering a rich array of connectivity options. It comes with an adjustable stand that offers 0 to 100mm height adjustment, -30° to 30° horizontal swivel, -5° to 23° tilt, and -90° to 90° vertical rotation, plus 100 x 100 mm VESA wall mounting compatibility, making it highly suitable for gamers using articulated arm mounts.
The ProArt PA32UCXR’s built-in colorimeter allows for automatic and precise recalibration over time, a feature highly beneficial for photographers, video editors, and digital artists seeking exceptional color accuracy. It also supports ProArt hardware calibration technology, saving all color parameter profiles on the monitor’s internal IC chip, and can be aided by the ProArt Color Center for user assistance.
