ASRock Radeon RX 7900 Phantom Gaming/Taichi Series Exposure
AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 XTX and Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics cards based on the new generation of RDNA 3 architecture GPUs will be available for sale on December 13, 2022. The suggested retail prices are $999 and $899, respectively. As a graphics card partner of AMD, ASRock has prepared a variety of products for the upcoming release.
According to VideoCardz, ASRock’s first batch of Radeon RX 7900 series graphics cards will have at least four models, which belong to the Taichi series and the Phantom Gaming series, all equipped with a three-fan cooling system and three-slot thickness. There are subtle differences between its Radeon RX 7900 XTX and Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics cards, such as a wider PCB on the higher-end model, but they are largely unnoticeable without careful observation and comparison.
This time ASRock has adopted a new design on the Phantom Gaming series, using an all-black color scheme, which is different from the previous black and silver radiator cover. At the same time, ASRock launched the flagship graphics card of the Taichi series for the first time. Compared with the Phantom Gaming series, ASRock’s product line is positioned higher. Both materials and design are better, and at least the appearance looks more advanced. ASRock revealed that the Taichi series will be equipped with three 8Pin external power supply interfaces, which means that there may be a higher factory frequency and stronger overclocking.
ASRock’s Taichi series and Phantom Gaming series Radeon RX 7900 XTX and Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics cards will not have a USB Type-C port, which is not the same as the reference graphics card. It is rumored that ASRock will officially announce these products before they go on sale on December 13, 2022.
