Apple releases macOS 10.14.5: support for AirPlay 2

Apple today released the official version of macOS 10.14.5, which users can upgrade through System Preferences – Software Update. macOS 10.14.5 is a maintenance upgrade, mainly to fix bugs, and at the same time, support for AirPlay 2 has been added.

Apple will release macOS 10.15 in WWDC 2019 and remove some outdated component support such as QuickTime 7, Carbon, Ink and Apple’s own hardware RAID support applications. In addition, macOS 10.15 may not be supporting 32-bit applications.
