AOC releases AGON CU34G2XE and CU34G2XP gaming monitors
AOC has announced the launch of two new gaming monitors under its AGON line, the CU34G2XE and CU34G2XP. AOC articulates that these new offerings are meticulously crafted to push the boundaries of immersive gaming while delivering unparalleled quality, offering gamers a high-performance panoramic display for an enhanced gaming experience.
The CU34G2XE features a VA panel with a curvature of 1500R, a 21:9 aspect ratio, a WQHD resolution (3440 x 1440), a refresh rate of 144Hz, and a 1ms response time (MPRT). It supports HDR10 and is equipped with one DisplayPort 1.4 and one HDMI 2.0 interface. The monitor boasts a simple yet robust stand, balancing functionality and flexibility, and supports 100 x 100 mm VESA wall-mounting. Gamers also have the option to use an articulating arm, such as the AOC AM420B, to unlock additional application scenarios.
The CU34G2XP, similarly, utilizes a VA panel with a 1500R curvature and a 21:9 aspect ratio. It offers a WQHD resolution (3440 x 1440), but with an enhanced refresh rate of 180Hz, a 1ms response time (GtG), and the capability to achieve a 1ms MPRT response time through MBR mode. Its sRGB color gamut reaches 99%. As a higher-end model, the CU34G2XP is more richly equipped, featuring two DisplayPort 1.4 interfaces and two HDMI 2.0 interfaces. Its stand is ergonomically designed, supporting height adjustments, horizontal rotation, and tilting.
Both monitors are equipped with Adaptive-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium technologies, and support AOC’s custom G-Menu software for OSD control, enhancing the user experience. Additionally, they feature flicker-free technology, a low blue light mode, and shadow control to protect users’ eyes. Moreover, they support PBP/PIP functions, displaying two input sources simultaneously.
The CU34G2XE and CU34G2XP are set to hit the market this month, with a suggested retail price of £299 and £339, respectively.
