AMD will hold an event on August 5: Showcase X670E and X670 motherboards with partners
AMD’s new generation of Ryzen 7000 series is still a while away from release, but they will start to warm up before the release next month. On August 5, AMD and its partners will host “An Exclusive Look at Partner Products: A Showcase of The New AM5 Motherboards” showcasing the upcoming X670E and X670 motherboards.
Although typically such meetings are held after the product launch, AMD is obviously unlikely to release a new Zen 4 architecture processor before August 5, and various news points out that AMD will release a new generation of processors no earlier than September 15. For the description of this event, AMD also only said that the AM5 chipset supports the Ryzen 7000 series processors, and will introduce new features of the AM5 chip, including DDR5 memory and PCI-E 5.0. From the description, it should also involve the performance display of PCI-E 5.0 SSD.
In addition to AMD, experts from ASUS, GIGABYTE, ASRock, MSI, and Biostar will participate online in this event. They will introduce their upcoming X670E and X670 motherboards, including the lineup, specifications, and functions of the first AM5 motherboards. At that time, there may also be a performance display of the Ryzen 7000 processor, but there is no mention of the B650 motherboard, so the first launch may only be X670E and X670.
