AMD unveils six new Ryzen 5000/4000 CPUs
AMD launched its Ryzen 5000 series processors and Zen 3 microarchitecture in late 2020, but the new CPUs started at least $300 at the time. If users want to buy a cheaper CPU, they can only choose old CPUs such as Ryzen 3600/3300X/3100, and these old CPUs are actually more difficult to buy.
Instead of continuing to look for AMD’s old CPUs, it’s better for users to switch to Intel’s 12th-generation Core i3-12100 or Core i5-12400, at least these CPUs are still new in terms of architecture and not too bad in terms of performance. That didn’t change until today when AMD announced six new Ryzen 5000/4000 CPUs starting at $99.
