AMD Ryzen 7000 non-X series will be launched on January 10 next year
AMD will soon bring three new Ryzen 7000 series processors, all 65W models, namely Ryzen 9 7900, Ryzen 7 7700, and Ryzen 5 7600. According to the previously leaked prices, they correspond to $429, $329, and $229, respectively.
VideoCardz has obtained AMD’s latest slides, which show that these three processors that focus on energy consumption will be launched on January 10 next year. Since AMD recently lowered the price of its existing Ryzen 7000 series processors, the pricing of the new processors looks less attractive. After all, as long as you spend a little more money, you can find a corresponding model with stronger performance and an X suffix. It is understood that the boxed Ryzen 9 7900 and Ryzen 7 7700 processors will be sold with a CPU cooler called “Wraith Prism” with RGB lighting effects. The boxed Ryzen 5 7600 is paired with a common cooler called the “Wraith Stealth”.
AMD also demonstrated the gaming performance of Ryzen 9 7900, which is 19% faster than the combination of 105W Ryzen 9 5900X and DDR4-3600 memory in combination with DDR5-6000 memory. The graphics card used is Sapphire Radeon RX 6950XT NITRO+, which runs 12 games at 1080P resolution. Ryzen 9 7900 is between 3% and 34% higher than Ryzen 9 5900X.
