It was previously reported that AMD has at least three unreleased Ryzen 7000 series processors, all 65W models, namely Ryzen 9 7900, Ryzen 7 7700, and Ryzen 5 7600, and prices are also provided, corresponding to $429, $329, and $229, respectively.
Recently, Twitter user @momomo_us found that some retailers and OEMs may have received information related to these processors. For example, Ryzen 9 7900 and Ryzen 7 7700 have appeared on Lenovo’s list, with 12 cores and 24 threads and 8 cores and 16 threads respectively. The base clock of both is 3.6 GHz, and the boost clock is 5.4 GHz and 5.3 GHz respectively.
For ordinary consumers, these processors with a TDP of 65W on the AM5 platform have better cost performance, and AMD is likely to release these new Ryzen 7000 series processors at the CES 2023 exhibition early next year. It may be able to be matched with a cheaper motherboard. It is rumored that AMD will launch the A620 chipset next year, and related motherboard products will be available in mid-2023.
