Previously, we covered the unveiling of the Ryzen 5 5600X3D. Despite it being a processor designed for the AM4 platform, it is indisputably AMD’s latest product incorporating 3D V-Cache technology. Citing information from Wccftech, this processor has officially been launched in the United States, with exclusive sales through Micro Center.

As delineated on Micro Center’s product page, akin to the parameters revealed earlier, the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X3D touts a base clock of 3.3 GHz and a boost clock of 4.4 GHz, both metrics are curtailed by 100 MHz when compared to the Ryzen 7 5800X3D. Additionally, the L2 cache stands at 3MB, a reduction of 1MB relative to the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, whereas the L3 cache remains consistent at 96MB. In terms of TDP, it surpasses the Ryzen 5 5600X, aligning with the 105W level of the Ryzen 7 5800X3D and Ryzen 5 7600X. As for the core count, it retains a 6-cores and 12-threads configuration.

Concerning pricing, Micro Center lists the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X3D at $229.99. Micro Center also offers a bundle with the Asus TUF B550-PLUS motherboard and G.SKILL Ripjaws V 16GB DDR4 memory, priced at $329.99. Moreover, they also sell computers equipped with the Ryzen 5 5600X3D.

Although there is currently no news regarding the launch of the Ryzen 5 5600X3D in other regions, judging from Micro Center’s pricing, building an AM4 platform PC based on the Ryzen 5 5600X3D would offer a commendable cost-performance ratio, particularly given that the prices for AM4 motherboards and DDR4 memory are quite reasonable.
