AMD releases Ryzen PRO 4000 series processors
AMD today released the Ryzen PRO 4000 series of processors for the commercial notebook market. AMD said that the Ryzen PRO 4000 series of processors provide more cores and threads, so it can provide performance stronger than its competitors (such as Intel).
AMD announced that HP and Lenovo laptops equipped with Ryzen PRO 4000 series processors will be available on the market as soon as the first half of this year.
AMD Ryzen PRO 4750U is by far the most powerful processor on ultra-thin business laptops. It has 8 cores and 16 threads, which is 33% higher than the multi-threaded performance of similar products. AMD Ryzen PRO 4750U is equipped with a more responsive and energy-efficient solution.
AMD Ryzen PRO 4750U produces twice as much performance per watt as the previous generation. It can provide up to 20 hours of battery life in business notebooks.
By embedding security defense mechanisms in each security function from the processor to the operating system, the AMD Memory Guard unique to AMD Ryzen PRO series processors can achieve efficient data confidentiality and identity protection.
Administrators can use AMD’s full manageability features to simplify the deployment process of enterprise functions, and AMD Ryzen PRO series processors also support Microsoft’s Endpoint Manager, which can provide a more flexible integrated cloud management solutions program.
AMD provides up to 18 months of free technical support and 24 months of paid technical support for AMD Ryzen PRO series processors.
