AMD may release Ryzen 7000 series desktop CPUs on August 29
At the second quarter earnings conference this year, AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su confirmed that the Ryzen 7000 series desktop processors will be released in the third quarter, further narrowing the time frame for new product releases, that is, within the next two months.
The first batch of Ryzen 7000 series desktop processors will have four models, namely Ryzen 9 7950X, Ryzen 9 7900X, Ryzen 7 7700X, and Ryzen 5 7600X, corresponding to 16 cores and 32 threads, 12 cores and 24 threads, 8 cores and 16 threads, and 6 cores and 12 threads. Such a launch is similar to the Ryzen 5000 series at the beginning, and AMD should focus on the high-end segment in the early days of the new platform.
