AMD may release Radeon RX 6700XT graphics card on March 18
Although AMD has the upper hand in the processor war with Intel, it has temporarily failed to reproduce the success in the processor field in the graphics card field. However, with the release of the RDNA2 architecture by AMD, it seems that AMD has to compete with Nvidia again.
Today, there is news that AMD will release the Radeon RX 6700 series graphics cards based on the RDNA2 architecture on March 18. The more high-end Radeon RX 6700XT will compete head-on with Nvidia RTX 3060Ti. If AMD can guarantee sufficient production capacity, Radeon RX 6700XT will become a very difficult opponent for RTX 3060Ti.
The media reports give data on Radeon RX 6700 series graphics cards. Radeon RX 6700XT will use Navi 22 GPU, Radeon RX6700 will use a slightly worse Navi 22 GPU.
The Radeon RX6700XT will have 40 computing units and 2560 stream processors, and the Radeon RX6700 will make a few cuts. The two graphics cards will be equipped with at least 12GB GDDR6 video memory, the bus interface is 192 bits.
Previous data showed that Radeon RX 6700XT can be used to play 2K stand-alone masterpieces, which is also evidence that its video memory will be larger than RTX 3060Ti.
