AMD 8-core Ryzen 7 7800X3D price starts at €530
AMD recently released two Zen 4 architecture desktop processors featuring 3D Vertical Cache (3D V-Cache) technology: the Ryzen 9 7950X3D and Ryzen 9 7900X3D. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D, on the other hand, is slated for an April 6th launch. Compared to the dual-CCD models, many enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the single-CCD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, believing it will offer a superior price-performance ratio and eliminate scheduling concerns.
According to VideoCardz, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D has appeared on several European e-commerce platforms with prices displayed as €530.1 and €607.39. While the official recommended retail price in the United States is $449, the European price remains undisclosed. However, the prices shown are notably higher than expected. Considering the approximately 13% price difference between the Ryzen 9 7950X3D and Ryzen 9 7900X3D across regions, the current prices are somewhat inflated, and the actual price should be closer to €509. It is possible that these e-commerce platforms have merely listed the product in advance, and the displayed prices are not final.
As the release date approaches, AMD officially shared the gaming performance of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D for the first time. In comparison to Intel’s Core i9-13900K and the previous generation Ryzen 7 5800X3D, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D leads the Core i9-13900K by a margin of 13% to 24% and outperforms the Ryzen 7 5800X3D by 21% to 30%.
