Akasa released KS7 ultra-thin CPU cooler

Akasa is a manufacturer that designs and manufactures high-quality heat dissipation equipment. It provides heat sinks including CPU, chipset, SSD, and memory components, covering consumer and enterprise markets, and has close cooperation with Intel and AMD.
Recently, Akasa released an ultra-thin CPU cooler, model KS7. The height of this ultra-thin CPU cooler is only 16mm, providing a new choice for users who like to build small (SFF), HTPC, or ultra-thin hosts. Akasa has not yet announced the specific pricing of KS7 and the time to market.

The appearance of the KS7 ultra-thin CPU cooler is black, and the shape looks very simple, using anodized aluminum technology. Its size is 64.5 x 64.5 x 11 mm, weight is 104.9g, compatible with Intel LGA 1200/115X socket, and the overall is very light. KS7 is equipped with a 64mm fan, the fan speed is 2200-4000 RPM, the air volume is 24.61 CFM, the air pressure is 2.76 mmH2O, the noise is 32.8 dBA, and it supports PWM temperature control. According to the official introduction, the EBR bearing fan used has a nominal service life of up to 40,000 hours, and it runs very quietly.

Akasa said that the KS7 ultra-thin CPU cooler supports processors with a TDP of 35W. Due to the use of aluminum coolers and its small size, the heat dissipation performance is limited, and it is difficult to support higher TDP processors. Users need to use Intel processors with the “T” suffix to use with KS7, such as the Core i7-10700T processor.
