Acer launches its first Radeon GPU – Predator BiFrost Radeon RX7600 8G
Earlier this year, reports posited that Acer was poised to officially launch graphics card products to diversify its retail line, with a primary focus on cards featuring Intel and AMD chips. Acer unveiled a graphics card called “Predator BiFrost” from its Predator series last year, which flaunted the custom Predator cooling system, a hybrid structure composed of a turbofan and an axial fan.
According to xfastest, Acer has introduced its inaugural AMD graphics card, named “Predator BiFrost Radeon RX7600 8G”, which still incorporates the unique turbofan and axial fan hybrid structure. Additionally, there will be an OC version available with higher factory frequencies, all equipped with a single 8Pin power interface. Acer has also ushered in a new Intel graphics card aimed at the mainstream market: “Predator BiFrost Intel Arc A750 8G OC”, equipped with dual 8Pin power interfaces, offering gamers a wider selection.
The new products have dimensions of 267mm in length and 117.75mm in height, with a dual-slot thickness. The employed Predator cooling system is subtly different in its aesthetic from its predecessor, with an all-black color scheme that is understated yet exudes a metallic feel. Gamers can use the Predator BiFrost Utility APP to control the graphics card, where the status of the graphics card can be seen through the main menu of the OSD control panel, along with the adjustment of usage modes. In terms of display output, it is equipped with three DP 1.4/2.0 ports and one HDMI 2.0/2.1 port.
The Predator BiFrost Radeon RX7600 8G has a gaming frequency of 2250 MHz, a boost frequency of 2655MHz, and a total card power consumption of 170W. The corresponding OC version has gaming and boost frequencies of 2320 MHz and 2725MHz respectively, with the total card power consumption elevated to 180W. The Predator BiFrost Intel Arc A750 8G OC has a slightly higher total card power consumption, reaching 250W.
In terms of pricing, the Predator BiFrost Radeon RX7600 8G is priced at 8490 TWD (274 USD), the OC version is 8999 TWD (290 USD), and the Predator BiFrost Intel Arc A750 8G OC is priced at 7990 TWD (258 USD). Acer offers a three-year warranty service for these graphics cards.
