Your Phone app will integrate with the Windows 11 taskbar
Windows 11 has been leaking a bit more recently, with previous leaks suggesting that Microsoft is making improvements to things like settings, notifications, the desktop, and the taskbar. There is also a new feature related to the Android system that has been discovered, here is the function integrated with the Your Phone app, not the Windows 11 Android subsystem.
According to windowslatest reports, the new version of Your Phone app will integrate with the Windows 11 taskbar, and then tap your phone to pop up recently used applications. Before the Android subsystem, the Your Phone app can stream Android applications to the desktop through streaming, allowing users to use Android applications on the computer.
Microsoft is currently providing this feature to some preview users, and users need to use some supported Samsung devices to receive push notifications or use this feature. When the test is completed, this feature will be pushed to Windows 10 users, and users only need to update the Your Phone app in the Microsoft Store to use this feature.
Other requirements include:
- Samsung device running Android 9.0 or greater with Link to Windows.
- Both devices should be connected to the same Wi-Fi network
- Your Phone app v1.21092.145.0 or higher. Older versions of the Your Phone app does not support recent Apps.
- Link to Windows version 1.21083.49.0 or higher.
