You can access the Windows Insider Program without Microsoft Account

by ddos · December 29, 2019

The Windows 10 Insider Preview program requires you to log in to your Microsoft account from the beginning, otherwise, you cannot directly open the related options in the preview program settings. This may be troublesome for users with local accounts because they cannot directly participate in the Insider Preview program. The good news is that there is now a scripting tool called Offline Insider Enroll that can directly bypass Microsoft’s verification participation and set up different channels for the beta.

KB4343893

Steps To Join The Windows 10 Insider Program

  1. First, you need to visit GitHub to download the latest version of the script on your system. You can get the script and a readme file by extracting the archive.
  2. Now you need administrative privileges to run the script. Go to the folder where the script file is downloaded, right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
  3. Once the script runs on your machine, you are required to select the Windows Insider Program Ring that you want to join.
  4. Press the letter against the option that you want to choose and press the Enter key.
  5. At this point, you will receive a prompt to reboot your device in order to enable Microsoft Flight Signing. This option is required for machines that are not already enrolled in the Windows Insider program.
