Windows Server vNext Insider Preview Build 19551 Releases
Microsoft released the Windows Server vNext Insider Preview Build 19551. It is worth noting that this version is the first Windows Server post-2004 branch version, that is, the first preview update of the next major version update.
It’s unclear what’s new in the build because Microsoft hasn’t actually released any release notes yet. This is normal for new Windows Server versions. What we do know is that vNext is no longer tied to a specific Windows version, which is a new way for Insider testing.
According to the official blog:
What’s New
This build includes a fix that enlightens National Language Support (NLS) components to be container-aware. NLS state is now instanced per container. This fix addresses some scenarios where a container OS components attempts to access data that is unavailable in the container due to instancing.
