Windows Core OS appears in the Microsoft support doc

At the hardware conference scheduled for October 2nd, Microsoft is likely to announce a dual-screen device with a lightweight operating system, Windows Core OS (WCOS). In the past few years, especially in the past few months, Microsoft has mentioned WCOS more frequently in LinkedIn recruitment information. The previously leaked recruitment information shows that Microsoft is developing a new Action Center for the WCOS system.

Windows Latest disclosed a supporting document, which is the first time Microsoft explicitly mentioned Windows Core OS in the official support document. This document applies to the base level Windows diagnostic events and fields for Windows 10 systems, and Microsoft has released privacy documentation for each of the latest Windows 10 updates.

In the page description, it means that on the Windows system, you can sort according to the popularity of the log library, and mention the Windows Core OS:

  • wcmp The Windows Shell Composer ID.
  • wPId The Windows Core OS product ID.
  • wsId The Windows Core OS session ID.
