Windows 10 Update reminders user when Windows 10 reaches End-of-Support
Experiencing File Loss Issues in Windows 10 Version 1809, Microsoft is improving system updates to prevent issues, including improving transparency and in principle no more automatic updates. According to Microsoft, the current version of Windows 10 Version 1803 is about to expire, and this version will completely end security support in November 2019.
The Home and Professional versions will stop receiving security updates by default, while the Enterprise and Education editions, as well as other special editions, will receive additional support. So from now on, Microsoft has already started to remind users to prepare for the update. Now users can open the system update page to see the prompts released by Microsoft.

Starting with update KB4499183, we are introducing functionality that allows you to decide when to install a feature update. You control when you get a feature update while simultaneously keeping your devices up to date. Feature updates that are available for eligible devices will appear in a separate module on the Windows Update page (Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update). If you would like to get an available update right away, select Download and install now. To find out more about this feature, please go to this blog.
At the prompt in Windows Update page, the message shows: “You’re currently running a version of windows that’s nearing the end of support. We recommend you update to the most recent version of Windows 10 now to get the latest features and security improvements.”
