Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 arrives at the RTM stage
The Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 enterprise long-term service edition based on Windows 10 21H2 has officially arrived at the RTM stage.
Microsoft announced the release of the official version and delivered the version to OEM manufacturers. Now OEMs can launch IoT devices equipped with the new version.
Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 is a special edition provided by Microsoft for IoT devices. This edition also provides security support for up to 10 years.
As a comparison with other long-term service versions released by Microsoft, the support period has been shortened from 10 years to 5 years. The Internet of Things devices have special characteristics, so the security support time is longer.
