Windows 10 20H2 and version 1909 will reach end-of-support on May 10
If you do not upgrade to a supported version, the system will not be able to accept any updates after expiration, including daily bug fixes and security updates. The commercial version is mainly for enterprise customers. Compared with home users, the upgrade cycle of enterprise customers may be longer. Administrators should prepare for the upgrade in advance.
The consumer version of Windows 10 v1909 has already ended support, and this time the end of support is the commercial version, which is the enterprise version, and the education version of the enterprise branch. The current commercial version is in extended support so it can continue to be used, but the end of extended support after May 10, 2022, means the end of the life cycle. After expiration, all versions of Windows 10 v1909 will withdraw from the historical stage and will no longer receive any security updates. Enterprises and educational institutions should upgrade as soon as possible. Although the optional version also includes Windows 10 version 20H1, this version will soon end its support. It is recommended that enterprises directly upgrade to version 21H1 or 21H2.
