Finally, Ubuntu Touch OTA-12 will be released with Unity8 and Mir 1.x display services. As for the current OTA-11 update, it mainly brings improvements in keyboards and browsers.

Although Canonical officially abandoned the Ubuntu Touch mobile operating system, third-party developers are still actively providing regular OTA updates and feature improvements. Today, UBports developer, Marius Gripsgard announced on Twitter that the much-anticipated Ubuntu Touch installer already supports more mobile devices, including OnePlus 3 or Sony Xperia X.
