U.S launched a cyber attack against Iran
The US retaliatory digital attack against Iranian spy organizations was implemented on Thursday. The Washington Post, The New York Times, and the Associated Press all confirmed the report with their own sources. On the same day, US President Trump canceled the air strike on Iranian targets. It is reported that the target of the attack is an “intelligence organization”, which has either contact or partial contact with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Yahoo News reported that the organization is associated with recent attacks on commercial ships in the area. The Washington Post stated that the attack seriously damaged Iran’s military command and control system, but did not cause any casualties. The New York Times said that Iran’s missile control system has also become the target of US attacks.
It is understood that cyber attacks were initiated by the US Cyber Command. The New York Times reported that these attacks had planned a few weeks ago to respond to attacks against tankers and the recent downfall of an American drone event.
In fact, this is not the first time the United States has been involved in cyber attacks against Iranian assets. Previously, the United States assisted in the development of the Stuxnet worm that attacked Iranian nuclear centrifuges.
