Turn 10 Studios releases a captivating 18-minute in-engine trailer for Forza Motorsport 8

“Forza Motorsport 8” is slated for release on October 10, 2023, not only gracing the PC and Xbox platforms but also making its debut on the Xbox Game Pass. Presently, the PC version of “Forza Motorsport 8” is available for pre-order on the Windows Store and is soon to commence pre-orders on the Steam platform. Both the PC and console versions champion cross-platform multiplayer and progression.

Turn 10 Studios, the architects behind the game, have unveiled a captivating 18-minute in-engine trailer for “Forza Motorsport 8”. It provides gamers a glimpse into the inaugural race they must tackle upon embarking on their journey, set in the fictional “Maple Valley Circuit”, an emblematic track in the series.

The latter half of the video showcases events at the “Hakone Circuit” and “Big Oak Circuit”. The trailer also underscores the vehicular handling, highlighting features such as “Driver Customization” and the selection of the “Starting Race Car”, amongst a plethora of other functionalities and special effects.

On the Xbox Series X, “Forza Motorsport 8” offers three distinct visual modes: Performance (4K@60Hz), Ray Tracing Performance (Dynamic 4K@60Hz with in-track ray tracing), and Visual (4K@30Hz with in-track ray tracing). The Xbox Series S, however, boasts two visual modes: Performance (Dynamic resolution@60Hz) and Quality (Max resolution@30Hz), neither of which supports ray tracing.

This iteration of “Forza Motorsport 8” on the PC will support native 4K resolution and ultra-wide screens, a customizable V-Sync toggle with no frame rate cap in single-player mode, and a racing mode with real-time ray tracing. It further integrates DLSS 2, FSR 2.2, HDR calibration, shader pre-compilation and pre-caching, DirectStorage, and a myriad of other functionalities.
