Thermaltake releases CTE E600 MX series cases
Thermaltake has announced the launch of its CTE E600 MX series cases. This mid-tower case features an innovative design with Central Thermal Efficiency (CTE), optimizing cooling performance. Available in three color options – black, white, and blue, it also offers versatility with three graphics card mounting choices and an interchangeable dual front panel design.
The CTE E600 MX series has dimensions of 558.5 x 270 x 513 mm, accommodating Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, and E-ATX motherboards. Its design, which includes rotating the motherboard by 90 degrees, enhances the cooling efficiency of high-end hardware. This rotation positions the primary heat sources like the CPU and graphics card closer to the front and rear panels’ cool air intakes, creating dedicated cooling channels. The inflow of cold air from multiple directions is expelled through the top, ensuring an optimal airflow path within the case.
The case features a pre-installed 4mm tempered glass side panel. Two interchangeable front panels are provided – one of tempered glass for aesthetic appeal and the other of perforated metal for improved airflow. The case also comes with a 400mm PCIe 4.0 riser cable, allowing flexible positioning of the graphics card.
The CTE E600 MX series offers space for up to two 3.5-inch hard drives and two 2.5-inch hard drives. It supports a CPU cooler with a maximum height of 166mm, a graphics card up to 415mm in length with a cooling array installed, or 443.8mm without. The power supply unit can be up to 220mm in length. The front I/O configuration includes one USB Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, as well as audio and microphone jacks.
In terms of cooling fan placements, the front can house three 120/140mm fans, supporting 120/140/240/280/360/420 water cooling; the side can accommodate three 120/140mm fans, also supporting 120/140/240/280/360/420 water cooling; the rear fits three 120/140mm fans, compatible with 120/140/240/280/360/420 water cooling; the top can fit two 120mm fans, supporting 120/240 water cooling; and the bottom can hold three 120/140mm fans, supporting 120/140/240/280/360/420 water cooling.
