Thermaltake launches its first gaming monitor: TGM-I27FQ and TGM-V32CQ

Thermaltake has announced its foray into the fiercely competitive gaming monitor segment with the introduction of the TGM-I27FQ and TGM-V32CQ.

The TGM-I27FQ boasts a 27-inch IPS panel with a display ratio of 16:9 and viewing angles extending to 178 degrees both horizontally and vertically. It is rendered in QHD/2K resolution (2560 x 1440), features a refresh rate of 165Hz, and a swift 1ms response time (GtG). The maximum luminance stands at 400 nits, with the color gamut covering 95% of the DCI-P3 spectrum. It seamlessly supports VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), along with compatibility with both AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync technologies. As a cherry on top, it’s adorned with RGB backlighting.

For connectivity, the TGM-I27FQ is fitted with dual HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, a USB Type-C port delivering up to 15W, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Additionally, it embodies hub functionality with two USB ports and is also furnished with a KVM feature, allowing users to toggle between two different PCs effortlessly. The accompanying stand is a paragon of adjustability, offering elevation, tilt, swivel, and pivot functionalities. Furthermore, it accommodates 75 x 75 mm VESA wall mounts, catering to players who prefer arm bracket setups.

On the other hand, the TGM-V32CQ sports a 32-inch curved display with a curvature of 1000R. Its viewing angles mirror its counterpart, stretching to 178 degrees horizontally and vertically. It shares the same QHD/2K resolution but edges out with a refresh rate of 170Hz. Response times for GtG and MPRT are clocked at 4ms and 1ms respectively, with a peak brightness of 400 nits. The color gamut covers 90% of the DCI-P3 spectrum. This model, too, is harmonious with AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync technologies and is embellished with RGB backlighting.

In terms of ports, the TGM-V32CQ is equipped with dual HDMI 2.0, a DisplayPort 1.4, and a 3.5mm audio jack, though it eschews any USB ports. Its stand mirrors the versatility of the TGM-I27FQ, accommodating elevation, tilt, swivel, pivot, and the standard 75 x 75 mm VESA mount.

Thermaltake has priced the TGM-I27FQ at $339.99, while the TGM-V32CQ retails at $309.99.
