The OpenJS Foundation launches the Node.js certificate
The OpenJS Foundation recently announced its latest professional certification program on its official blog. According to reports, this certification program focuses on the key skills that Node.js developers need to build Node.js applications and services in a professional environment. Once certified, the developer is awarded a certificate issued and certified by the OpenJS Foundation. The certificate is valid for three years, including a PDF certificate and a digital badge, which can be recertified upon expiration.
As mentioned above, this certification is primarily a test of the key skills developers need to build Node.js applications and services, so the OpenJS Foundation has also introduced two certificates to certify these two skills. They are the OpenJS Node.js Application Developer (JSNAD) and the OpenJS Node.js Services Developer (JSNSD).
OpenJS Node.js Application Developer (JSNAD)The OpenJS Node.js Application Developer certification is ideal for the Node.js developer with at least two years of experience working with Node.js. For more information and how to enroll: https://training.linuxfoundation.org/certification/jsnad/
OpenJS Node.js Services Developer (JSNSD)
The OpenJS Node.js Services Developer certification is for the Node.js developer with at least two years of experience creating RESTful servers and services with Node.js. For more information and how to enroll: https://training.linuxfoundation.org/certification/jsnsd/
In addition, both exams last for two hours, and developers take exams through a browser-based terminal, and each exam supports automatic free retakes if needed. Exams are monitored by a live human proctor and are conducted online in English.
