The Indian government has allowed Huawei to participate in 5G network trials
A Huawei spokesman said that the Indian government allowed Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. to participate in India’s 5G network trials.
It is reported that the Indian TV channel CNBC-TV18 was the first to report the news, which quoted a senior official as saying that the test will be held in January.
It is reported that the Indian telecommunications department will meet with the operator on December 31 local time to determine the time for the 5G trial. It also said that all telecommunications operators in India have been approved to participate in the trial in principle. At present, the Indian telecommunications department has not formally responded to the news.
It is worth mentioning that India agreed to Huawei’s participation in the country’s 5G network trial when the US ban on Huawei made the company’s global promotion of 5G technology more complicated.
