The Chromium Microsoft Edge extension store is on beta phase
Before Microsoft is about to launch the official version of the Chromium Microsoft Edge browser, the browser’s extension store is currently online for functional testing in advance. According to Microsoft’s plan, the official launch time of the new extension store is January 15, 2020, and it is very close to the original official launch time. It is worth noting that the extension store that was launched this time is marked as a beta version, so users should not be surprised if they encounter some problems while using it.
This extension store is actually not much different from the previous version, and even the extensions contained in it are not much different from the previous version. Extension categories include accessibility, blogs, developer tools, entertainment, news and weather, photos, productivity tools, search, and security.
Although Microsoft Edge supports downloading and installing extensions directly through the Google Chrome Store, it is now more convenient for users to download after having a self-built store. Interested users can click here to access Microsoft’s extension store beta.
