Tesla pure electric pickup Cybertruck will enter mass production in 2024
Tesla’s Model S/3/X/Y four pure electric SUVs and sedans are more familiar to everyone, but in 2019, they released a very eye-catching pure electric pickup truck Cybertruck. It’s just that due to various unexpected factors in the past three years, many people may have forgotten Cybertruck, and Tesla did not go well with the mass production of Cybertruck. Now the latest statement is that this sci-fi cool pure electric pickup truck will enter mass production in 2024.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed at a recent company meeting that the mass production of Cybertruck will be delayed until 2024. At the Q2 quarterly meeting last year, Musk had set the production date as mid-2023. Musk said that Cybertruck will be launched this summer. It is possible to start manufacturing, but mass production will still take until next year. However, due to the long time since the release, Musk said last year that the configuration and price of the Cyberruck will be different from the original release under the influence of various comprehensive costs in the past three years.
Tesla plans to mass-produce Cybertruck mainly at their Giga Texas factory near Austin, the United States. It is uncertain whether it will be produced in overseas factories.
