After TAG Heuer announced the launch of Connected Calibre E4 series smartwatches corresponding to 45mm and 42mm diameters in February this year, TAG Heuer recently announced the launch of the Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition for golf and incorporates the golf ball surface dimples on the watch body, as well as the design of green elements representing turf.
The watch itself is based on the Connected Calibre E4 series with a 45mm diameter design. It is also equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100+ processor and is configured with Google Wear OS 2.0 design. It will be upgraded to the new version of Wear OS 3.0.
Other parts include Bluetooth 5.0 connection specifications, GPS positioning, and acceleration sensing components, as well as body data recording functions such as heart rate measurement, and mobile payment services such as Google Pay.
As for battery life, the Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition claims to be able to extend the power by an additional 30%, allowing users to use it for longer periods of time. At the same time, in the corresponding golf section, more golf course and event information, as well as the distance between the wearer’s location and the hole, are added to the map interface, and data such as the number of swings can be automatically recorded.
The Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition is expected to sell for $2,650, with three additional Titleist golf balls included. As well as a golf ball mark, you can also purchase a set of stainless steel straps for $460, or a red rubber strap for $200, which is expected to be available in the market during April.
