Strangers in Paradise Final Fantasy Origins is available on Steam

Developed collaboratively by Square Enix and Team Ninja, “Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin” has been released today on Steam, with the standard edition priced at $52.70 and the deluxe edition at $85.30.

Previously, “Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin” was launched on March 18, 2022, and became available on PC (Epic), Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 4/5 platforms. However, the initial release on the Epic platform for the PC version experienced numerous issues, such as drastic frame rate drops during combat and slower game speed. Based on current feedback from Steam players, the transition to the Steam PC version appears to be significantly better optimized, boasting a 98% approval rating and an overall evaluation of overwhelmingly positive.

As an official action RPG spinoff of the “Final Fantasy” series, “Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin” is described by the developers as showcasing a novel direction for the franchise. The game follows protagonist Jack in his quest to restore the brilliance of the crystal in the darkness-dominated Cornelia by challenging various labyrinths. Players can enjoy a profound narrative and demanding action gameplay, experiencing the collection and cultivation of various classes, weapons, and skills to customize their characters and engage in combat.

Additionally, three supplementary missions—”Trials of the Dragon King,” “Wanderer of the Rift” and “DIFFERENT FUTURE”—have been launched.
