Sony launches PlayStation Stars rewards program, hopes to increase player interaction

In order to attract more people to use PlayStation platform services, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) announced the launch of a reward program called PlayStation Stars, which will allow players to register for free and is expected to go live within this year.

According to the instructions, the way the PlayStation Stars reward program works, players will register for free and complete specified tasks, such as monthly login and check-in, and you can get rewards by playing any game, or by winning in designated activities, obtaining designated trophies, etc., you can get corresponding rewards. These include prizes that can be redeemed for prepaid PlayStation Network e-wallets, as well as PlayStation Store event bonus points that allow players to redeem game content on the PlayStation Store.

In addition, Sony Interactive Entertainment also announced that it will launch a digital collectible reward program, which includes the digital representation of characters from classic games and game devices launched by Sony over the years.

At present, the plan will be previewed through beta testing and is expected to be rolled out in selected regions in a phased manner.
