Sony announces the acquisition of Bluepoint Games

In the past few months, Sony has acquired Housemarque, a game developer from Finland, and Nixxes Software, a Dutch game studio. Housemarque is likely to develop 3A masterpieces for the PlayStation platform in the future, while Nixxes Software may help Sony launch more exclusive works on the PlayStation series to the PC platform.
Today Sony announced that it has acquired Bluepoint Games. This Texas-based game studio was founded in 2006 and has nearly 70 employees, with considerable strength. In the future, Sony may use the expertise of Bluepoint Games to remake classic works or collaborate with Nixxes Software to transplant exclusive works on the PlayStation series to the PC platform.
Marco Thrush, President of Bluepoint Games, said that his cultural belief has always been the same, that is, to challenge the limits, create the highest quality games, and enjoy the fun at the same time. The focus on culture is an important factor in the success of Bluepoint Games. Marco Thrush is glad that PlayStation Studios has a similar culture and vision. Bluepoint Games will further improve quality standards and create a more influential experience for the PlayStation community.
