Seagate released the FireCuda 530 series SSD
Seagate announced the launch of the FireCuda 530 SSD, which will support PCIe Gen4 standard M.2 slot and NVMe 1.4 standard. In this new product, Seagate offers 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB of storage capacities.
Seagate FireCuda 530 uses Phison’s PS5018-E18 main control chip, and Micron’s 176-layer 3D TLC flash memory and adds heat sink aluminum to ensure stable operation of the device for a long time. Unlike the heat sinks provided by many similar products, the heat sink used in FireCuda 530 is flat and relatively slim. Since many motherboards now have a heat sink covering the M.2 slot, Seagate provides a version without/with a heat sink, and users can choose when purchasing.
The FireCuda 530 series 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB heatsink-free versions are priced at $139.99, $239.99, $489.99, and $949.99, respectively. The heatsink version is priced at $159.99, $259.99, $539.99, and US$999.99.
Seagate also provides a three-year Rescue data recovery service plan and a five-year limited warranty. At the same time, the product is also bundled with the detection and repair tool SeaTools and the disk tool DiscWizard, allowing users to monitor the performance and health of the solid-state drive at any time.
