San Francisco Awaits: The Rumored Return of Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Launch

While this year saw the unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 in Seoul, South Korea for the first time, next year’s anticipated flagship, the Galaxy S24 series, is expected to revert to its traditional launch locale in San Francisco, USA.

South Korean media outlet postulates that Samsung has already settled on the launch timeline for their next flagship handset, the Galaxy S24 series. While a return to San Francisco as the preferred venue for the reveal is anticipated, exact dates remain nebulous, though early January of the following year has been hinted.

In recent launch events, Samsung has traditionally chosen San Francisco as the unveiling site for its flagship Galaxy S series. However, the Galaxy Z series, known for its foldable screen, has often seen New York City as its stage for debut.

Previous speculations have suggested that Samsung might reintegrate its proprietary Exynos 2400 processor with the Galaxy S24 series. While collaborations with Qualcomm will persist, specific markets might witness models equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Nevertheless, premium versions are expected to uniformly feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

Rumors have also circulated regarding Samsung’s intention to restructure its processor team, aiming for a transformative boost in Exynos performance. Yet, this integration seems to require additional time, which might explain why this year’s Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold5, and Galaxy Z Flip5 were all equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
