Samsung finally announced the release date of the latest Odyssey Neo G9 gaming monitor. You can buy it from July 29th. This new curved Odyssey Neo G9 is an upgraded version of last year’s Odyssey G9, with a 32:9 ultrawide screen with 5,120 x 1,440 pixels resolution, that is, a combination of two 16:9 2K displays. In terms of refresh rate, Odyssey Neo G9 has a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz and supports the fastest GTG response time of 1ms. Of course, since this is a curved display, it also uses a VA panel, and the curvature reaches 1000R.
In addition to these parameters, Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 also has an exciting feature, that is, it uses a Mini LED backlight and has 2048 backlight partitions, which in theory can bring a good HDR content viewing experience.
In any case, Odyssey Neo G9’s parameters are pretty good at least on paper, but I don’t know how it will be in actual use. Friends who are interested in Odyssey Neo G9 can pay attention to the major e-commerce channels after the 29th.
