Samsung Galaxy S22 series pre-orders exceed 70,000 units in 12 hours in India
Samsung officially released the Galaxy S22 series of smartphones on the evening of February 9, including three versions of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. The biggest difference between the three is the different screen sizes, which are 6.1 inches, 6.6 inches, and 6.8 inches. The processor will be equipped with two different versions of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 according to the market.
Recently, Samsung has opened the pre-order campaign for the Galaxy S22 series. Officially, the Indian market has set a new flagship model booking record, with more than 70,000 bookings in less than 12 hours. “We are grateful to our consumers for the overwhelming response to the new Galaxy S22 series. Pre-Orders for Galaxy S22 series are extremely encouraging and we are committed to getting these devices to our customers as early as possible,” said Aditya Babbar, Senior Director and Head of Product Marketing, Samsung India. Samsung did not disclose which model is the most popular in the announcement, only using the Galaxy S22 series to summarize.
Samsung’s Galaxy S22 series seems to be quite popular this time. It has been reported before that sales in South Korea exceeded 300,000 units on the day it went on sale, and it took only 8 days to reach 1.02 million units, which broke the previous record held by the Galaxy S8 series and became the most popular high-end flagship model in the history of the Galaxy S series. Among them, the Galaxy S22 Ultra accounted for 65% of sales, which is very surprising.
