Samsung Galaxy S21 will support for the S Pen
Earlier, we reported that Samsung plans to cancel the Galaxy Note series due to the increasing functional similarity between the Galaxy S series and the Galaxy Note series.
But then, the well-known Samsung digital whistleblower, Ice Universe said that Samsung will not cancel the Galaxy Note series because the Galaxy Z series of folding phones are not enough to support Samsung’s flagship mobile phone sales in the second half of the year.
Of course, these words probably mean that after Samsung’s folding screen phones mature, Samsung will cancel the Galaxy Note series.
It can testify to this view that Samsung is indeed gradually porting the features of the Galaxy Note series to the Galaxy S series. For example, it has been reported recently that Samsung is developing support for the S Pen for the Galaxy S21. In other words, the Galaxy S21 will support the full functions of the S Pen. Users can hold the S Pen to write and draw on the Galaxy S21 like using Galaxy Note series phones.
However, in order not to directly affect the competitiveness of the Galaxy Note series, Samsung will not directly equip the Galaxy S21 with the S Pen. If users want to use it, they need to purchase it separately.
According to the previous Samsung mobile phone release rules, the Galaxy S21 is expected to be released in early 2021, probably in February, and listed in March, while the Galaxy Note 21 will be released in the summer.
